As I find myself being drawn more and more to the authentic and unposed, lifestyle photography is holding a very special place in my heart. Especially when it comes to shooting lifestyle newborn sessions. Just being able to work with parents and their fresh new babies is such a joyful experience unlike any other.
I loved capturing these moments for this beautiful family in their light-filled home. I love how soft and quiet the images feel, I love the precious details of baby’s tiny nose and sleepy faces, and I love that you can feel the love they have for one another.

This session was such a breath of fresh air. I wanted to capture Kaila and Jimmy in a way that was authentic and meaningful to them, so we met at sunrise on a chilly autumn morning. It was the most beautiful thing just to watch them in their element, on the water bathed in sunlight with their sweet pup alongside them. Together, Kaila and Jimmy make love look easy and slow.
