This creekside session was tons of fun. I loved how laid back the family was and how much fun they genuinely had together. What a beautiful location to hang out and capture this season of life for them.

With sweet smelling magnolia trees and spring sunshine as the perfect backdrop, this family strolled through the beautiful blooming garden and let me capture their love for each other and excitement for new baby brother on the way. It was such a lovely afternoon, and mama was as glowy as the sun beaming down around us.

I love to photograph families and children in Highland Park not only because it is so stunning, but also because it allows for kids to explore a little bit and for families to create new memories together. Whether walking around on the paths or picnicking on a blanket in the shade of a magnolia tree, there are endless opportunities for beauty to unfold.
