It’s always so special as a family photographer in Rochester to get to capture a family in a place that means the most to them. For this session, we stayed put right in the family’s home, on a beautiful spring day that allowed us to take some photos inside and some in their sweet backyard.

I love to capture a family in their home, where they live and grow together everyday. My hope is that when they look back on the photos, they’ll see the rug where they sat and stacked blocks together, the bed where they read stories after bath time, and the yard where their sweet little girl took her first steps. Details and meaning that I couldn’t possibly pose or create.
