This past weekend, Frank and I headed north to spend a couple of days with my cousin and her adorable little family who were vacationing in the Outer Banks. My aunt also traveled out to visit (I haven’t seen her in a very long time), and Frank just recently got back from a training in the middle of nowhere, so it was a perfect weekend and exactly what we needed.

We strolled on the beach and watched tiny crabs popping out of their holes (and Frank throwing himself into the waves like a little kid… haha), walked through the quaint waterfront shops in the town of Duck, hiked a beautiful nature trail to find little critters, and celebrated the birthdays of two precious little boys.
