One thing I love about being a Rochester, NY newborn photographer is that my work often takes place in the home of the family I am photographing. For me this means an ever changing workspace — different lighting conditions, colors, details to work with that show a little about each family and how they exist together naturally.

Each session results in photos that are cohesive and dreamy, every family with its own kind of color palette.

Looking back through my archives at all of these, I was struck (as I so often am) with gratitude that this is my job. How did I ever get so lucky?
