This fine art pregnancy session was such a joy to capture.

I truly love working with each family to bring their vision to life. Between mom’s perfect outfit choices, a simple neutral studio backdrop, and some fresh flowers to add a sweet touch of detail, I just knew the end result would be gorgeous. As a photographer in the Syracuse area who specializes in pregnancy photography on film, I love when the focus of the images is truly the parents and baby. Without all the extra elements of an outdoor location, for instance, we’re able to remove the distractions that any colors, crowds, weather conditions, lighting conditions, etc. might add. The resulting simplicity is so lovely.

Because the session was captured on film, the photos are timeless. The images, which were already so dreamy to begin with, really feel so ethereal and light thanks to the magic of film.
