I always love taking spring family photos in Rochester. There is a really beautiful energy with the flowers blooming and everything turning green after a long, cold winter. Everyone is just happy to enjoy being outside in the warm sunshine.

This session in Highland Park was so nice. I loved catching up with this family since I last took their photos in the fall. We really just enjoyed all the sights and sounds of nature while I captured some really lovely candid moments among the cherry blossoms and daffodils. I truly believe that family photos shouldn’t feel stiff or posed or forced. They should be a sweet and authentic glimpse into a fleeting season of life.
